So far, 31 individual supporters and 10 companies/organizations have helped sustain the activities of World in Peace. Your support reaches children and communities around the world as hope in action.

Please note that World in Peace operates as a voluntary organization without corporate status. As such, it is not a certified NPO, and donations to our organization are not eligible for tax deductions (寄附金控除). Applies only in Japan.

If you specify a particular project for your donation, up to 20% of the funds may be used for administrative costs, with the remainder going directly to the project. Any surplus after the project’s completion will be allocated to other necessary programs based on urgency and internal consultation within our organization.

What Your Donations Can Do

¥500

Your donation can provide medicine to one person in impoverished areas of Afghanistan with limited medical facilities.

¥1,500

In the event of a disaster, it can supply one person with about 10 days’ worth (50 uses) of emergency toilets.

¥3,000

It can deliver six months’ worth of school supplies (pencils, crayons, etc.) to children at a kindergarten in Cambodia.

¥5,000

It can fund the transport and distribution of essential supplies by trucks to those in need in Afghanistan.

Frequently Asked Questions about Donations

How can I make a donation?

You can donate via credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or bank transfer. We also accept in-person donations at events or through donation boxes.

Is the donation amount flexible?

Yes. You can donate from as little as 1,000 yen. You may choose either a one-time or recurring donation—whichever suits you best.

Can I receive a donation receipt?

One-time donations:
Receipts are issued upon request. The date shown will be when the payment processor transfers funds to our organization, not the date of your donation. Receipts are typically sent about two months after payment. Please contact us if you need it urgently.

Monthly donations:
Receipts are issued once per year and sent the following January.

Note: Receipts are issued only once and cannot be reissued.

How will I receive the receipt?

Receipts are sent by post as the default option. If you prefer, we can send them electronically (PDF format).

Can I specify how my donation will be used?

For one-time donations, you can choose to support either all of World in Peace’s activities (as a general donation) or a specific project (as a targeted donation). However, it is not possible to specify how the funds are used within a particular project or program.

Can I get a refund for my donation?

Donations to World in Peace are generally non-refundable. Exceptions apply only if the donor is identified as part of an antisocial group or deemed socially inappropriate. In such cases, we will return the full donation. For other inquiries, please contact us through our inquiry form.

Is the donation process secure?

Yes. Donations are processed via Stripe, a payment system certified at the highest industry standards. All transactions occur on Stripe’s secure platform, so we never handle or store your credit card information directly.

How are donations used?

Donations support World in Peace’s initiatives such as disaster relief, medical and sanitation aid, education for children, and fair trade support. If no specific project is chosen, donations are allocated based on urgency and need.

Do I have to donate every month? What if I only want to donate once?

Recurring monthly donations are optional. You can choose to make a one-time donation whenever you wish.

How can I see the results of my donation?

You can view reports on our Activity Report page, social media, and Annual Report. We regularly share photos and updates from our projects and beneficiaries.

I donated through a donation box. Can I get a receipt?

Unfortunately, we cannot issue receipts for donations made via collection boxes, as we cannot identify individual donors. Please note that such donations are also not eligible for tax deduction.
